First Service in the Phase 2 Expansion

Youth Praise Service

Our UMYF made it official as they hosted the first service in what will be our future Sunday School building.  Actually the Phase 2 expansion will include rooms for Sunday School, The Preschool, and a multi-use center that will house a full size gymnasium capable of being transformed into a stage theatre.  The youth invited the church to be a part of their evening praise service, and many people turned out to tour the building and look at the plans.  Of course the first order of business was to bring some chair over for everyone to be able to sit.

The youth and the Praise Band did a great job with the service.  Our youth director, Mr. Danny, took some time to talk about the blessing of this building.  The service was held in what will be a commons area in the youth wing of the building.  He shared a vision of what we as a church, and the youth can accomplish with this addition, and challenged our young people to make a stand for the things that God is calling us to do.

We are blessed to have such a wonderful group of young people, and especially blessed with the adults that assist them in their program.  Many of them took an active part in the worship service.  Thank you youth, Mr. Danny, and everyone that helped present this powerful worship experience.
