2003 Confirmation Class
Rev. Mack and Rev. Debbie started with ten in the Confirmation Class this year, and after many weeks of study and fun, ten completed the training and celebrated by leading the program at Family Night Supper.
Several of the kids shared about their experience in Confirmation Class and, the highlight of the class, the trip to Lake Junaluska for Confirmation Weekend. Everyone could tell that it was a wonderful experience for the kids. Debbie said that the kids never slept.
Just to "show off" how much they had learned, they gave everyone at Family Night Supper a test about the United Methodist Church. They did stump a few people.
Congratulations to our ten Confirmands (soon to be new full members).
Confirmation Sunday
What a wonderful Sunday morning service. Ten of our pre-teens have been confirmed into the membership of McDonough First United Methodist Church. Welcome new members.
