McDonough First United Methodist Church
UMM 2006 Hunter's Dinner
Everything was bigger and better. This was a wonderful event for our church and our community. This year the UMM had the dinner in the gymnasium in order to seat more people, and it was needed. Almost every seat was taken. There was lots of great food to eat; all prepared under the watchful eye of our chef Paul Gaffney from PJ's Cafe. Paul is a gourmet chef and he can do wonders, even with game meat. But, I don't think anybody could have made that big African Goat chewable. That old boy was tough. Paul did make it taste great though. Again we had some wonderful door prizes, and we are very thankful to all who donated prizes for this event. We also thank the ladies that decorate our gym. It was beautiful. Thank you to all that donated meat. And a great big thank you to our youth group. You guys make up a great wait staff. The UMM could not have pulled this off without all of your help. We don't want to leave anyone out of the thank you list, but there were so many. To you all, Thank You!
